About us
Hello, I’m Sharyn,
I am the principal behind I am Well.
My life journey has been multifaceted, encompassing roles as a wife, mother, grandmother, counsellor, coach, professional supervisor, and an ever-curious student.
Life has presented me with a myriad of experiences: the challenges of divorce, the heartache of losing close family members, and the unimaginable pain of losing a child. Throughout my journey, I've grappled with feelings of rejection, often being labelled as "too emotional", "too hard," or “not good enough”.
My path through the various life stages includes the recent transition to being empty nesters, my husband's retirement, and I'm presently navigating the uncharted waters of menopause. Through it all, my unwavering love for people fuels my belief that everyone should have a life where they are genuinely heard, respected for their unique selves, and provided with a space to harness their passions and strengths for the greater good. I am a firm advocate of the idea that human beings are inherently social creatures, meant to thrive in a supportive community where no one stands above another — we are all equal, simply different.
My passion lies in the well-being of individuals, particularly those who find themselves unable to access or find the vital information and support they need to live well. Nothing brings me more joy when people begin to recognise their intrinsic value and realise that they are more than enough. I love the excitement and awe experienced as individuals discover their aspirations in alignment with their authentic selves. You could say I'm like your personal cheerleader, although I must admit, nowhere near as co-ordinated. Every individual should have access to the resources, knowledge, and social connections required to
live with resourcefulness, resilience and good purpose.
“I want people to know that they matter and that they are enough.”
