What are we about?

I am Well. facilitates the exploration and building of your ideal life. The life that includes the things you love and are good at. We do this by focussing on what we call “well-being”.

Well-being is a term that is commonly used these days. At I am Well. we believe that well-being is about every aspect of you, the whole of you.  It is a combination of the practical things of living life (finances, education, work, body health) alongside the social and emotional aspects (spiritual, thoughts, mental health, friends and family). These things all work together and can impact us in ways we sometimes don’t even realise.

When we look at well-being this way, we build a picture of where you are right now, and then you work out a plan for how you want it to look for the future. For some, it could be what sort of work you would like to do for others; it might be changing something that keeps happening in your life. It might be recognising that you are stuck and figuring out what will help you to get out of the mud. It might be confusion about who you feel you want to be and what others tell you. It is having a place where you are listened to, feel respected and can share what is in your heart.

What we offer

Counselling

Counselling is an opportunity to be heard and share your challenges in a non-judgmental, safe and solution-focused way. As the client, you decide what you want to work on and what outcomes you aim for. The counselling process guides, shares resources, and encourages you as you take action to head where you want to go. Counsellors don’t tell you what to do, and the tools that are used to guide you along the way are ones that you can use for yourself into the future.

Coaching

Coaching is similar in format to counselling.  It is one-on-one and a safe space for a person to share challenges and is goal-orientated. It has a larger focus on the training and development of the individual being supported.

Professional Supervision

Professional Supervision relates to your work. Do you work as a leader within a help organisation? It could be a not-for-profit, a church, or other volunteer organisation.  Supervision is a place where you reflect on what has been happening so that you can discuss how you want things to be in the future.  It is external to your workplace.  It is a welcoming space where you can confidentially bring challenges, questions and ideas to discuss, focusing on the well-being of the person being supervised (yourself) and the people not in the room, your team members or clients.

At i am Well. we believe that well-being is about all of you. it is a combination of the practical things of living life alongside the social and emotional aspects

Women’s group sessions are a different way to explore, express challenges and share with others in a way that is encouraging and raises hope that things will get better.
It's about forming relationships and having people who can champion you along the way.
(Please note this is not about sharing beyond being comfortable either, the way the sessions are run means that you can come to your own realisation without everyone having to know everything).

OPTION THREE.

Supervision Sessions

These sessions can occur one-on-one or in a group setting. The supervisor does not need to know all of the workings of your workplace as the process used is one of reflection; you are the expert in your field, you are the one who knows what needs to happen and what you would like to see happen.
